Advanced Projects

For the Master’s degree it is required to carry out an Advanced Project, and more specifically a Capstone Design & Research Project, that will be prepared and presented by the student in collaboration with other students of various specialties. The Capstone Design & Research Project includes topics that are related to the interdepartmental character of the Program, as well as topics concerning the collaboration of students in as much as possible real conditions. Students are divided into groups and undertake the design of a project according to predetermined requirements. The work is shared and the knowledge gained by students through the courses offered throughout the program is implemented in conditions of a project design. In this way, students are better prepared to transfer their knowledge into practical applications and gain experience from participating in a larger group where everyone is performing part of the work but at the same time all students work together towards the common objective of the Design & Research Project integration.
