Engineering from Imperial College, London (2003) and his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cyprus (2013). He is currently the CEO of ACE R&amp;D - GT Engineers, enterprise in the field of Mechanical Engineering, and a Teaching and Research Assistant\/Special Scientist at the University of Cyprus, School of Engineering. He has served as an Assistant Professor at Frederick University-Department of Mechanical Engineering (2019-2021) and Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Cyprus, Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (2016 \u2013 2019). <br \/>He is a registered member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK), acting as a Mechanical Engineering ETEK expert, as well as an approved by the Cyprus Human Resource Authority (AnAD) Mechanical Engineering External Examiner in the building industry. He is a consultant for a number of public\/governmental, municipalities and private organisations. His teaching and research expertise are in the fields of Signal Processing, Image Analysis, HVAC, Design and Automation and Mechatronics.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/etsd.ucy.ac.cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/ATjirkallisCV-July-2024.pdf\">CV<\/a><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-6aba299\" data-id=\"6aba299\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-68c2f5b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"68c2f5b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Nestoras Antoniou is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Eastern Finland, in collaboration with the University of Cyprus, as part of the European postdoctoral program YUFE4postdocs, co-funded by Horizon Europe's Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Actions (MSCA fellow). He earned his Ph.D. under a joint doctoral program between the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the University of Cyprus and the Eindhoven University of Technology, focusing on the \"Numerical and experimental investigation of urban microclimate in a real compact heterogeneous urban area\". He has participated in several international conferences and workshops with oral presentations and conference papers in the fields of urban physics, wind engineering, and thermal comfort, and he is the first author of three ISI journal papers. He holds a Diploma in Architectural Engineering from the University of Patras and an MSc in Building Energy and Environmental Performance Modelling from the Welsh School of Architecture at Cardiff University.<\/p><p><a Environmental and Atmospheric Sciences. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental and Atmospheric Sciences from the Cyprus Institute, and he holds a Master\u2019s degree in Environmental Physics as well as a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.\nAfter completing his Ph.D., Dr. Georgiou worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Cyprus Institute (2016-2017), focusing on the development of technologies for solar energy production and storage, as well as processes related to desalination and brine treatment. In 2018, he took on the coordination of the PROTEAS research facilities, the first pilot plant for solar thermal energy production and storage, combined with desalinated water production.\nIn his professional career, Dr. Georgiou has been the Head of the PROTEAS research facilities at the Cyprus Institute since 2023. He has made significant contributions to numerous European research projects, serving as the Principal Investigator for the Cyprus Institute. He has participated in international conferences, delivering presentations and publishing scientific articles in the fields of solar thermal energy, energy storage, and desalination.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/etsd.ucy.ac.cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Marios-C-Georgiou_CV_June_2024_upd.pdf\">CV <\/a><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-fadfecd\" data-id=\"fadfecd\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-540d97a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"540d97a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Dr. Efrosini Charalambous holds a diploma in architecture engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, a master's degree in advanced architecture (self-sufficient habitat)  from the Institute of Advanced Architectural of Catalonia and she was awarded a PhD in Architectural Space, Spatial Cognition and Behavioural Neuroscience, from the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London (UCL). Her research interests are primarily focused on the study of architectural, urban and spatial experience, embodied-enactive cognition, and environmental behaviour (e.g. reorientation) using cutting-edge technology such as mobile EEG (electroencephalography) and virtual reality.  Within this context, she is particularly interested in the study of urban emotions and well-being urban policies (sustainable cities\/social sustainability)as well as how dynamic system theories can help us understanding better the brain-body-environment relationship. She has worked as a teaching and research fellow at several departments at UCL including the Bartlett School of Architecture, the Centre of Advanced Spatial Analysis and the Institute for Global Prosperity. She has received recognition as an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) for her teaching practice as well as the UCL Education Award in 2018. She is a registered architect at ETEK(CY) and she has practised architecture in Athens and Barcelona. Since 2024, she is a Visiting Lecturer at the Department of Architecture at Frederick University, teaching courses focused on virtual and augmented reality as tools for studying architectural perception (e.g. data collection).<\/p><p><a
